This thread is to talk about the immediate future of za/me/us. We talked about reviving the clan. Talked about moving to different games. But nothing actually happen. There is a upcoming game that has generated A LOT of interest. Its called "H1Z1".
What kind of game is it?
MMORPG Zombie Survival Game. It made by SOE
Open world , crafting , building , shooting , bows , zombies , wildlife , vehicles
I am definitely getting this game. It has met all my criteria for becoming my new religion. Previous religion was "rust". Now i want to use this clan for this game. Meaning, recruiting, getting fresh blood members. Maybe even awaken some of the old blood that already here. The game is coming out for PS4 and steam. Steam is getting early access.
Game Early Access come out Jan 15th 2015
Why should you be excited for H1Z1?
- It is made by SOE who have had a really good track record for the last few years.
- The game runs on a proper engine with support for thousands of players.
- All the basic elements which make a Zombie Surival game actually work unlike other games which are out right now.
- They want to make this a hardcore survival game but understand that it has to remain fun.
- It will be free 2 play (though you will have to pay $20 for early access).
- It has a deep crafting system including building fortresses (clan bases).
- No skills or leveling system, you can do anything you want.
Some planned features they talked about:
- The map is huge and they plan on expanding it more and more eventually leading up to a thousand player map (perhaps more).
- Custom servers (players can vote on what kind of servers they want).
- Character and weapon customization.
- Zombie hordes.
- Free look while running around (being able to turn your head a bit left and right while running forward to see whats around you).
- Close to real life bullet physics, but it will make sense for a game.
- Just like PlanetSide 2 you will be able to model your own creations and get them into the game.
- Defenses for fortresses such as barricades.
- Trading system.
- Weather system.
... and much more.

So my ultimate question of this thread is. Can i be given Admin site powers back so that i may bring this clan back to life?

So what made you excited about this game? I googled some pictures and it look a lot like DayZ. But there isnt too many pictures. Is there a video you saw or something that may interest others?
I mean come on, what if you play it and it's not nearly what it was set out to be?

but when I see free game and big game together, how would they not make it pay 2 win? They aren't just gonna put tons of effort into it and not add some way to make it a shitty unfair game.

League of legends is the most played game in the world and it's free to play. It's not pay to win though. It's definitely possible to make a good game free and not pay to win.

I was thinking about that, but I don't see how you could do the same thing with an open world zombie game that won't get anywhere close to half the players that LoL has. This game will be a pay 2 win nightmare. |

League is a MOBA, and yes it's not for everyone. It has a high learning curve and therefore not everyone is able to or willing to devote the time required to learn. Also just because you devote the time to the game doesn't mean you'll be good.
CS:GO would also be a good focus game for the clan. I know a lot of people play it in the clan already, it's an FPS like Halo and doesn't have nearly as high a learning curve. It is also one of the most played Steam games making it full of potential recruits.

If you guys made a clean for master hued collection on Xbox, I would definitely start playing again but I currently don't have my computer set up. Definitely worth looking into. Halo master chief is so good and there's no need for map packs, it's got every map from every halo.
