Alpha RQ's in Stats

I was playing stats and as soon as the game started, Pulse and this david kid immediately rage quit. Pulse knows the rules and has rage quit in the past (when me and vulture were at hang em is the first to come to mind) and this was BLATANT and UNACCEPTABLE for someone who is very active in the servers and knows the rules very well.

dude it happened one time chillout. Usually when big maps like gephy are voted in a half empty server like that the zombies quit. If pulse and this other kid start doing in repeatedly or whatever then we can do something about it, otherwise complaint noted.

I'm mad because people are beginning to think it is okay to rage quit. I joined back to stats after posting this and the same thing happened on prisoner with Grimmrow (who is fairly regular on stats). Because of regulars rage quitting, more and more people think it is okay to rage quit, and its happening WAY MORE FREWUENTLY. That makes our servers look bad also.

Regardless, rage quitting is against the rules. If someone drives drunk and kills someone you can't say "oh they are only 21 they don't know better" because it is breaking the law/rules of society. Rage quitting obviously isn't as bad as that but still is breaking the rules/ laws of the server and should be dealt with no matter what |

Pulse lagged out i already talked to him. he came back the next game. i told him next time he rqs or watever he will be banned. but he says he lagged out. that his halo crashed.

Thats why we have a rule against repeat rage quits as i stated in my first post. We also don't ban someone for rage quitting one time. I said, in my first post, that if it continued thats when we take action. But for now, your complaint is noted.

Thinking about it, i dont think anybody in the past 4 months has been banned for rq. Admins have laxed up on stuff like that. Our servers are almost always empty, we dont ban for small stuff like that unless it happens alot, which then we may discuss action. 2nd, Pulse also happens to live in the uk, he has a real ****ty internet. He lags out about half the time, when he does leave the game his xfire crash's, which implies that its an honest crash. I agree with all a has to say.

Im not really concerned with Pulse but I think in general we should enforce the rage quit rule. THE REASON OUR SERVERS ARE EMPTY IS BECAUSE PEOPLE RAGE QUIT! If we enforce it, then more people are going to stay in our servers and therefore make them more popular. |

This is a non-trivial problem, and it is hence important not to discount the possibility that banning players reduces the number who can play in our server, and drives others away.

I not saying admins arent inforcing (they are) just saying they should be taken as serious as other things because it causes servers to be empty and no one likes that |

Ok i talked with mist, this was a complaint at first about lag, but it turned into more of a suggestion about admins perhaps warning people a touch more about rqing, not banning. Since rawr already had warned, then it seems like this issue is closed. Thread locked
