i have no were else to vent so im vent here lol
So i was selling my car to my sister on payments either 25$ a week or 75$ a month.....
she never came up to get the title all straighten it out an she only paid 130$ on it in 7months with i was seelin it to her for 600$ car was in great running condition... she didnt change the oil or check water or anything.
she went an blew the motor. car was broke down still in my name so i sold it to savlage yard was i in the wrong?
seriously lols my family my sister an mom an dad are callin me a crazy bitch witch i lold
so salvage picked up the car .. my sister said she had stuff in it so i told her weree it was.. she went an told them that it was her car she paid it off. lols too funny.. i mean seriously she tried sellling it to the same salvage yard i sold it to! lol they wouldnt do it cuss the title was still in my name. so it was my car... now everyone is pisssed at me...

Something similar happen to me once, but with a stranger. He paid off the car but never finished changing the title. Then he raced the car and blew the engine and left it on a state highway, so the fines were in my name. Then it got a couple of fines for running red lights (the city cameras caught it), so had those fines, too. THEN it got towed from off the high way and the towing company tried to charge me the 200 dollar towing fee plus storage so it all came out to 3 grand. I let the towers keep the car for an even trade, filed an affidavit claiming no-ownership, and then only had to pay the red-light fines.
So bottom line - if the title is in your name, its your car.

Regardless the car is your responsibility. If your family member using it drove into the ground and didn't care to get the title then they are to young to understand how it works or simply didn't care. I don't think what you did was wrong at all. |

Yeah, I would have done the same. She didn't finish paying for it. If you were a car dealer, the car would have been repossessed. Same diff. I guess your parents and her expect different cause you are her sister, but they should expect her to NOT take advantage of you, too. It works both ways, if they wanna be pissed cause you didn't give her a car for free, then they should be pissed at her for ruining the car.

ikr lol its all good savlaged it for 150$ xD lols not much but i needed heaters lmao. an im the baby of the family. an every car shes owned she has blown the motor in it. just like u bought oil an the filter to chnage the oil... she took the stuff back to but ciggerates.. im mean who does that? a car is more important,

What you did was no different than what a bank would do if she had a loan and had defaulted on the payments, repossess and sell to recoup their losses. You legally had every right to do what you did.
This is a lesson we sometimes must learn the hard way (myself included), that even though someone is family and we want to help them, it's almost never a good idea to sell things to family members and it generally will bite you in the ass.
