Major stats problem

I've been playing in Stats since it came out.. and I've been noticing a problem and it keeps irritating me.
Some of you may say it is minor but it clearly isn't.
When any player kills a lot of zombies (this happens more to good players), the server says "*Player* Is a Running Riot!"
I hope you all see the issue with this.
It should say "*Player* is ON a Running Riot"!!!!!!!
It is totally grammatically incorrect.. and I don't think you mean to call players running riots as all.
Fix this, please, for the sanity of us all!!!!

Should install OPTIC voice software. Problem solved. I use it now. Makes the game so much more fun. The link is here on the website somewhere for download and is very easy to install. Try it. |

I wish slim could remove some of the server chat. Like i really don't care if such and such pummeled whoever. Or what kind of riot they are on.
The server does spam quite a bit of chat. So i think we should remove the pummels and the killing streaks other ppl are on. It would reduce the chat spam alot.

Bigger stats problem. I'm zombie 1/2 games now and it's making me mad. I never rq, I always wait til end of the game

Agreed. For example, when you infect someone, it messages 3 times
Player1 killed Player 2
Player2 was pummeled by Player1
Player2 Was Infected.

yeah ive noticed alot of those things too. I agree with master the server seems to spam chat quite a bit

perhaps "[ZA]Master A has been infected by [ZA]Althor via pummel"? long enough to catch attention (i really do rely on those messages to let me know whats going on) and only uses one line. personally i cant stand to play in stats anymore. the only advantage zombies have is camo....and now most of the players that hang out there can see camo. so its uber camping with overpowered weapons against a slightly weaker, slightly faster foe...who is unarmed

Never even noticed that error, lol. I usually ignore those kinda "is on a Killing Frenzy" or whatever sprees and stuff and focus in game. Also couldn't see it much due to the text lines being scrolled out too fast. But Optic app saves me from all those problems as I would know that I got the double, triple, over, killing frenzy, running riot, etc medals along with its sounds. ^_^

"running riot" is a verb, not a noun.
so proper usage is "Player is Running Riot". and that has been corrected as of now... |

Well killing spree is a noun, so for uniformity I think he is saying running riot should be a noun, too.

Honestly, since smurfs are bound to be truthful, i would like the server spam gone. I have optic on my computer, and when i look through chat logs i have to scroll for forever when passing through the server spam. Especially after me and other people get a high killing spree.
This would also help with people finding out what Commendation's they get. I can't count how many times I have asked or been asked what commendations have been awarded because of so spam. I'm not saying take away the spam every ten mins from the server spamming our site, rules, commands etc. talking about the general spam MasterA wrote about.

Technically, it's not an error.
Player is running riot is, like Slim said, the most correct and obvious way of putting it but 'Player is a running riot' also works if you take it that it's just comparing the player to a riot that is running.
Anyways, agreed that a bit of the server text could be changed.

I'm fine with the current level of server chat since I use a mod which shows more than the normal number of lines of chat.
