Oh and that desktop's a bit too cluttered for my tastes. Personally, I prefer to keep the level of clutter to a maximum of... let's say... 0% of the desktop.
XP is the only OS that will work on my computer.

I thought you had more games, unless you hid them from showing on Desktop.
I have heaps of games but I keep my desktop clean... I use Steam and Origin for my games so I just have them there instead.

I'll post when my monitor comes on Friday. 
I might change my background when it comes if this one doesn't look that good.

All the information kinda makes everything look bad, I can't really describe it. I guess it just gets in the way. If I were you, I'd make it like the main menu for Crysis 3. I would make it look like I am looking through a mask/helmet/whatever and make that information the HUD.

Yee I have windows 7 on my good pc at home but on this one having windows 8 makes the fps WAAAAY better
and you'd be surprised how useful almost all of the features from it come I cannot even explain how much i love having a button to go into my task manager with one click
also I can disable certain parts of it when i'm not using them i just normally like to leave em on
