Yearly event/Triple cR?????

modifying the script for a cr rate change is quote simple. its a 3 line if then addition. the system already does a check against the weekend so its easy to make it from a fixed date rather then a floating point check.
also, as for the idea of floating weapons for start, that could be created with minimal work. ill try to find time this week. |

I really like this idea of triple CR... But the servers are gonna be packed.
We should throw in more than a few ZA Nights XD
Also, the weekend will not be 6x cR, right? (the holiday and weekend cr double/triples won't join?)

its not a continuation sytle setup. it has priority and breaks to prevent multiple addons, unless it was wanted in that form. |

I don't think that would be a good idea. everyone is getting triple cR already and that would require more scripting. Lets keep it a triple cR for the weekend as well. This may rank people up too fast and with the lagg lately I don't wanna tax the server too much. This way it's less work on Slim and less trouble getting into the server for the holiday weekend.
And star, you won't have to script this more than once if it's a yearly event. It should stay like everything else right? And i am totally up for ZA events, it would be nice to have a public event as well though so it doesn't seem like we are just treating ourselves to some events and having fun. Give the public some LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't worry Para, I wasn't trying to be mean about it. I just didn't fully understand what slim was saying. I was reading fast cause i was at college lol.
And adder, that would be awesome, but it would be nice to have this event yearly. Maybe have triple cR event's for leader's B-Days as well? just a thought

we might need two similar servers with stats lol . once the server fills up, that't it, you won't be able to get in for probably hours. only chance you might get when someone rq, because if the server is filled up with regular good players, then you might have to wait for a very long time to get in to enjoy 3x Cr.

That's why a week was suggested. If it is a week long than everyone can enjoy the triple cR

I agree. 6x is too much. 3x for a week during the anniversary sounds good in my opinion. We all worked hard to get cR from normal days and double cR weekends. And if the server went 6x, then people will catch up to the ones who worked hard/long to get the cR very easily in matter of time, as it won't mean anything for those who have worked hard for it on normal weekdays and double cR weekends. So 3x for a week on that anniversary would be the best and it will be fair for the ones who couldn't join the server on that day they tried to, due to it being full and will have a chance to join it within the 6 remaining days.

I wish we could get a confirmation on this though. I know we are still working on a ZA anniversary event for the ZA's but if we get one thing comfirmaed than we don't have to have to many other things to worry about when trying to figure out what we are doing for ZA personnel.

ive finished the script modification. all one has to do is edit the stats script and input a date or range of dates with which triple cr is to be allowed |
