It can be setup so that if your a Member, via the tags and sv_member_list on the server, your unaffected by ping kick. |

Could you also get rid of the "warning you have high ping" message If we end up going through with this coz it really gets annoying trying to read messages with that spamming the text box :L |

please add a limit for members too. is it agreed that none of the high pingers get over 700? unlimited ping could lead to server crashes

their is a difference between high ping and ping spikes. PPl spiking up to 500 or 600 from their regular ping can cause lag in the server and almost always warp themselves. The ping kick atm is setup for everyone who has a steady ping of 400 and under, basically everyone who is not ping spiking and lagging themselves or that could lag the server.
Also if your ping is spiking hundreds above 400 i don't see how u can even kill a zombie. Led the ping spikes can be caused by multiple ppl using your internet taking up the bandwidth i suggest looking into that like i said in my earlier post.

this would be very helpful
@master: i have already looked at your earlier post. I am the only one using the net at the time. All other applications are closed. Ez has also had a look at it to try to help solve it. i am not sure what other solution there is than to heighten the ping kick so i can play in the server. Partly the reason im innactive in the server is every time i try to get in there i get kicked.

I agree with Hat and SlimJim. Those sound like great improvements to the system. I get ping spikes for just a few seconds and it kicks me. No complaints from me though, I'm good. |

Well my net died so I can't even really play in the ZA servers anymore without being ping kicked lol. I don't lag much but I get a lot of ping spikes now... :/ |
