Go to www.autotrader.com bro. Since you live on a farm I would recommend a truck. But gas prices are killer, so that's your decision. Trucks nowadays actually get pretty good gas mileage. Some up to 20mpg which is the same gas mileage as some cars.
If you choose a car over a truck here are some reasonable cars in your budget. I added Coupe, because no one wants a grandma's car for there first car. As for Mustangs? Didn't know they were selling for 12k. They would probably have alot of miles on them so probably would not be worth it.
2009 Nissan Altima Coupe
2010 Chevy Cobalt Coupe
2008 Honda Accord Coupe

Well, the town I live next to/in is Britain's oldest continuously settled town, about 1300, 1400 years old. I didn't know that until I just looked it up on Wikipedia.

ik, so boring round your home.
Also, heres the breakdown from my POV:
you wanted either a small car or a truck. so since you have already stated you are fine with a truck, then obviously fuel econemy is on the backburner for you.
for 12,000 you could nab a decent 97-05 F-150/Ram/Silverado. super cab, with around 70k-120k.
or a smaller Ranger, s-10, Blazer, Explorer, etc... and they would be lower in the mileage but higher in the features.
and if your looking for a car with great features for the price, Look twards the Grand marque, its easy to find a low mileage one with leather and everything else. and with either a v6 or v8 its no slouch.
now if you want performance, take a look at the Dodge chargers, easily found for less then 10k used. and they are much more promising then a mustange prior to 2005. |

WTF does soccer have to do with females? Aren't the majority of soccer players male? PLUS! Dirt and grass in cleats get all in the interior of a mini-van which makes the place stink and is impossible to clean.
