Feel free to share the view of your Desktop. You don't have to if you don't want to, but here is mine:
^ The desktop on my new PC compared to the old PC which was super messy with the whole Desktop screen being covered with icons, lol.
(Organized in an alphabetical order like a true nerd.)

(Note: My res is actually 1600x900. Photobucket just seems to hate high res files, so I had to scale it down)
Yeah, I avoid having any icons at all on my desktop. Instead, I've got a row of my most used programs on my secondary taskbar, and I've got everything else organised by category on my Start Screen.(I use OblyTile to pretty it up with proper tiles)
I also have a large selection of wallpapers(671 currently. I did have a lot more, but I realised some of my Skyrim wallpapers were lower quality than the rest, and I was too lazy to sort through them, so I just deleted them all). All of my wallpapers are rotated through every 10 minutes.
Oh and I usually actually have 2 monitors, with seperate taskbars, and seperate wallpaper rotations, but my larger monitor needs to be fixed because it's decided it hates me /:
I also had a bunch of icons on my secondary monitor's desktop(which is actully this one) for a while. I've been considering bringing that back, though it's not really needed, as I have the Start Screen, which can be opened on the secondary monitor, while leaving the desktop open on the primary monitor, fyi. |
