FC/ZA Server Rules

So we now have FC/ZA servers (the sniper servers and now RankWarz) which brings up the question of whose rules we follow. for example, swearing is expressly allowed by ZA rules, while it is expressly forbidden by FC rules.

If FC are okay with it, I'd go for swearing allowed as per ZA rules.
It's less extra effort to admin.

For reference, here are the FC server rules.
1. Limit your SpawnKilling (If they complain then stop).
2. No Swearing, Use of Obscene names, or namehacks
3. No Aimbotting, Sightjacking, or use of anything that gives a player an edge over another.
4. Admins have authority, listen or be removed.
1, 3 and 4 all seem fine by ZA rules. As for #2, I feel that maybe we should be a little scricter and limit swearing but otherwise, I've got nothing against it.

I've always prefered no swearign and would much rather it was like that on all servers. But to tbe honest im not really all that fussed, just a preference. |

Honestly, I don't care if people swear. Sometimes someone will curse while I'm in server and apologize and I'll say swearing is allowed and that usually ends it. People generally keep their swearing to a minimum, and if not a warning is usually all it takes. It regulates itself, so I, personally, have no issue with it if it isn't directed at others.

I don't like having a no swearing rule. It's fine like it is. I don't want the admins to have to spend all their time dealing with people who say any bad words in the server because it's a pain.
I think the ZA rules will work just fine.

I'd prefer it too, but confusing for players who are used to swearing on ZA servers.

I'm fine with swearing but I don't like the players who swear excessively or use a swear word with every sentence they say.

I agree with Firefox. swearing is alright, as long as its not excessive or every other word in a sentence.

Is "Aw shit" or "Fuck, I fell off" really as bad as "You're a $&%£ing %3£%" or "You £"$%&"?
I mean, the offence comes from it being directed at another person, as opposed to directing it at yourself- which is the case of the former.

& it wouldn't really matter who's the minority if its a ZA & FC server you'd have to ask both like let's say
CnR & ZA shared a server there would have to be a majority vote regardless of who's clan is bigger because that's not fair
But mostly everyone here is saying for it to be like za's server langs rules I don't think there's been any objections
